Non-biking days, May 13&14. Halifax to Nanaimo.

Blair had boxed our bikes so we could fly out on Monday morning at 10 am Eastern Time. The flights to Vancouver and on to Nanaimo went smoothly and Don and Judy met us on arrival. We've had good visits with family and friends here and in Victoria. It's been great to relax and visit with so many people.

The only downside has been seeing several homeless drug abusers in downtown Nanaimo and knowing that so much of this problem is the result of corporate greed.
