Day 18. Salmon Arm to Revelstoke. 102 km.

The day didn't get off to a great start because of the hotel. The breakfast was put back to 7:30 and piddling with coffee, yogurt and white toast available. No protein and nothing interesting. So we biked to Sicamous and had good breakfast around 11 am.
Bicycling today was very good with only a few sprinkles of rain.
Gramie thought that she had lost her credit cards, so we called in and had them frozen. Later at the motel, she found them much to our relief. Nothing like a bit of stress to get you going.
I thought that we would peddle up for half the distance to Revelstoke and then down for half. Wrong, we went up, mostly gently for 90 km and down for 10.
Our big bonus for the day was Tracey and LeaAnn spotting us just before Revelstoke and then having dinner with them after we checked-in at the Monashee Lodge. Bowls Restaurant had really good Korean bowls of veggies and meat over rice.
We also stopped at the site of the last spike of the CPR.
