After a nice breakfast made by Rejean we were off toward Trois Riviere with a cool, strong headwind providing a challenge. We stopped for a rest in Trois Riviere and as we left town the rain started. It got really heavy so we went to a garage where they let us shelter for over half an hour. We were soaked but started east again only to find that there wasn't any rain 2 km east. No more rain but strong headwind into Portneuf. We arrived at 6pm. Econo Lodge gave us a nice room upgrade.Now that the Aussies and Americans are advocating for vitamin D, we just need UK and New Zealand to complete the Five I's. In this case the I's could stand for Integrity, Inquiry, Independence, Intelligent and Interest in Vitamin D (maybe also vitamin I).
