The ride started really well with no rain or headwind as we started up the rail trail. Then reality arrived in the form of soft trail. In some places we sank and had to push our bikes. Eventually we found a large section of the trail that was closed and found our way to the roads. That was fortunate because we rode much faster for the rest of the day. We are now at the Comfort Inn after a nice meal at Boston Pizza.
Thoughts about the censorship of Patrick Provost, with apologies to Pastor Niemollor.
First they came for the doctors, but I didn't do anything because I was not a doctor.
Then they came for the nurses, but I didn't do anything because I was not a nurse,
Then they came for the pharmacists, I didn't do anything because I was not a pharmacist.
Then they came for me, and there was no left to speak for me.
I fear that academic freedom is dead unless academics speak out to protect our canaries in the academic coal mines.
