Grimaldo to Galisteo

We had a great self serve breakfast at Posada de Grimaldo.Then we were off for Galisteo with hopes of going further. That was not to be because I ran out of gas in the afternoon. Could not go any further. The scenery was great.

We guessed that the vertical clearings on hills might be fire breaks.

We had to cross a stream on stones and lucked out when another couple came along and loaned Susie poles to help her balance on the rocks. 

Several businesses in Galisteo were closed.

The logistics of getting through this area are odd. We'll have to figure it out tomorrow.
